nablet mediaEngine is a professional video transcoding software that can convert videos to and from a wide range of codecs, including H.264, AVC-Intra, XAVC, AVC LongGop, XDCAM, MPEG-2, DVCPRO, DNxHD, and JPEG XS. mediaEngine is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, and can be integrated into existing workflows using the SDK, command-line interface, or Preset Editor.
Version 3.0 of the nablet mediaEngine adds support for Apple ProRes, a high-quality video compression format designed for post-production editing and mastering. Widely used in professional filmmaking, the ProRes format supports resolutions up to 8K and is ideal for editing complex video projects. As a lossy (but perceptually lossless) codec, it provides higher quality video than end-user codecs while requiring less storage space.
